More Pumpkins, Squash and Gourds

2nd order of seeds has arrived. Always fun to see the seeds arrive. The planning during the winter season is exciting, to see all the different varieties and then watching them grow throughout the summer. Will have a very nice group of pumpkins, squash and gourds, once again to sell this fall.

Seed Catologs

Even though it is below zero, Spring must be coming! Seed catalogs are coming! Actually, they come earlier every year. Use to be, could look for them after the first of the year. Now, already November! Our first order came this week. Looking forward to warmer weather and planting our pumpkins, squash and gourds. Our fall season will kick off on Saturday, September 13th.

Wow! 20th year Celebration!

Hard to believe, that 2024 will be our 20th year that we have been hosting the public to our farm. Doing this thing called agritourism, where the public can come out to a real working farm to see the different animals and the activities that we have going on. Beside coming on out to the farm, we travel to many town festivals with our petting zoo and pony rides. Many have been going to for 12 - 15 years. Your loyalty is much appreciated. Summer is a busy time and most weekends are booked, but if are looking for a petting zoo, just email dave@ericksonspettingzoo.com, and I will let you know if something can be worked out.

SPRING ON THE FARM

In the past we have celebrated the Spring babies, with our farm being open the day before Easter and having an Easter Egg Hunt. Even with Easter being late this year, (April 16th), with all the snow - going to hold off until May 14th. Have some new activities for parents and kids. With the better chance of nicer weather, looking forward to a fun day and season.
