School Field Trips

Why not make your next field trip a farm adventure?  Make the outing an educational and fun learning experience.  Erickson's Petting Zoo hosts both spring and fall field trips.  Spring is always full of new baby animals - children can check out all the animals and birds. In addition to the barn and outdoor animal viewing areas and there's a large outside play area.  The party shed has sheltered picnic tables, if the facility isn't already booked.

Admission for school groups (in spring) is $6.00 per student or extra parent - teachers and aides are free.  If field trips are booked when everyone is here (all the Erickson family work off the farm), pony rides for children 85 pounds or less can be provided.

Fall Field Trips: in addition to all the animals and play areas, autumn also brings more activities with the Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch.  For the school admission rate of $7.00 per person, a tractor ride to the Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch is included. And (depending on the available produce on the date you schedule your visit) each student may receive one free pumpkin.  The calendar fills up fast, so book your field trip soon for the day you want to visit the farm. 

 (If the weather is rainy around the time you visit, have the kids wear old shoes or boots.)
